McCullers Group President Mark McCullers recently shared his insights on the value and creation of public-private partnerships to connect and enhance campus communities at the seventh annual Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Ohio (AICUO) Collaborative Conference.
Held on the campus of Otterbein University, the conference brought together college administrators from across the state to learn and collaborate on topics like business and finance, admissions and enrollment, student support, and strategic partnerships. McCullers’ presentation focused on the role quality of life plays in student decision-making, the increasing value of facilities and environments, and how public-private partnerships can and are driving campus community development.
“College campuses are just like any other communities,” said McCullers. “They thrive when their residents enjoy great quality of life. And just like cities are investing in lifestyle amenities, so are schools. In our experience, partnerships between public and private entities that can deliver those amenities benefit both the schools and the communities they call home.”
“The Collaborative Conference is an opportunity to connect our member institutions and business partners to help make Ohio the best place to get a higher education,” said AICUO President and General Counsel C. Todd Jones. “We were pleased to have Mark share his insights with the group and hopefully spur some valuable conversations about campus and community development.”
McCullers’ presentation is available on the McCullers Group YouTube channel.
