McCullers Group President Mark McCullers recently spoke with Sports Business Journal facilities reporter Bret McCormick for the publication’s “Closing Shot” feature on the 25^th anniversary of Historic Crew Stadium, America’s very first soccer-specific stadium.

McCullers was stadium general manager for the MLS’ Columbus Crew at the time and shared some of his memories from the project that would, according to the publication, “change the trajectory of U.S. pro soccer.”

“Back then we were still getting, ‘Is soccer going to make it?’” McCullers said. “We don’t get those questions anymore and I think this stadium is a reason why.”
