Kurt Eklund and Matthew Hulette both have been promoted at sports and real estate firm McCullers Group.

Eklund has been named Director of Development. He previously served as Project Manager, focusing primarily on financial analysis, underwriting, and planning efforts for the firm’s sports- and entertainment-anchored mixed-use developments. In his new role, Eklund will oversee all aspects of project development, including financial structuring and underwriting, predevelopment and preconstruction services, and project advancement. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Northern Arizona University.

Hulette has risen to the role of Senior Project Coordinator, through which he provides project administration, coordination, lease structuring, and communications management support for the firm and its clients, partners, and advisees. He joined McCullers as a project administrator in 2022 after graduating from the University of Kentucky, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics. He’s currently pursuing a law degree at Northern Kentucky University.
