Virgina’s Langley School envisioned a number of upgrades to three floors of its building. When the preliminary budget came in well over its planned CAPEX spend, members of the McCullers team found $2 million in savings with some creative design revisions while still being able to deliver additional classrooms, an 8,500-square-foot café, a performance and presentation space with seating for 250, energy-efficient lighting systems, and additional BMS functions to save on maintenance. And it was all accomplished with student safety top of mind and in time to host graduation ceremonies.
