Dell needed a suitable California location to warehouse shipments of computer products from Southeast Asia and provide capacity for assembly, packaging, and distribution functions across North America. The challenge was identifying, designing, and constructing a location that met all those needs while allowing for an expansion they anticipated within 24 months. Members of the McCullers team oversaw the project, including the impact of adding a new sub-tenant as the construction phase began. The partially completed offices were also redesigned during construction to house additional staff and extensive modifications to the racking and aisle configurations. Despite those dramatic changes, the project was still handed over on time, with construction complete in just six months.
