The private Walnut Creek Country Club in South Lyon, Michigan wanted to update tees, fairway layouts and green complexes for its three 9-hole layouts to bring them in line with modern-day safety and playability standards. Members of the McCullers Group worked closely with the club over the phased 3-year project, which also included the creation of new “junior” tees to facilitate the club’s growing junior program, upgrades to irrigation and drainage, and the assessment and realignment of hazard placements to further challenge players of all skill levels.
