When minor-league sports and digital media firm Alliance Sports needed to create a financial and physical foundation for the sports-anchored development they envisioned for downtown Omaha, Nebraska, they teamed with McCullers Group. We created project budgets and financial operating models for the $300 million project and evaluated multiple sites for their $300 million, 18-acre mixed-use project, including the chosen location. We also worked alongside city, state, and other stakeholders to secure public funds for the development, which is expected to return as much as $368 million to the local economy. McCullers then transitioned to a project management role, overseeing developer identification, program modeling, engineer selection, and due diligence at the site, which soon will be home to a 7,000-seat soccer stadium for USL League One side Union Omaha as well as 330 residential units, 100,000 square feet of retail space, and a 140-key hotel.
