FC Cincinnati is a case study in progressive development. With McCullers Group’s help, the team went from one of the most successful brand launches in United Soccer League history to a successful Major League Soccer expansion bid to a brand new, stand-alone, downtown stadium in just 3 years. McCullers started by overseeing renovations to the University of Cincinnati’s Nippert Stadium, which paved the way for an authentic, genuine soccer experience and brand success. The group then pivoted to supporting FCC’s Major League Soccer expansion bid, providing valuable insights and industry expertise. McCullers led the project team that evaluated three MLS stadium sites in multiple jurisdictions, coordinated site acquisition, assessed developer partnerships, evaluated multiple public-private partnership scenarios, and created financial operating and debt models. FCC is now a model franchise for the league, a sports darling in its community, and a case study in the power of vision and perseverance.
