Greenville Pro Soccer
USL League One’s Greenville Triumph and USL W League side Greenville Liberty have become an integral part of the community and the sporting culture in the growing Upstate of South Carolina. The club had called historic Stone Stadium on the campus of Furman University home for a number of years. But when the time came to create a permanent home to secure Greenville Pro Soccer’s long-term future, they turned to McCullers Group.
From predevelopment planning and development agreement negotiations to project team and design oversight, project delivery, budget management, administration, and owner advocacy, McCullers continues to be a steadfast owner’s representative on the club’s new multi-use stadium, GE Vernova Park. We evaluated multiple sites and coordinated and negotiated with multiple developers and municipalities before the project landed at BridgeWay Station in the city of Mauldin. Negotiating a complex capital stack and public incentives, McCullers was instrumental in securing the final development deal and advancing the project to construction, through opening, and into the final phase.
