As part of Longview, Texas’ 2024 Comprehensive Plan, the Longview Economic Development Corporation identified professional sports and sports tourism as economic drivers to complement the community’s already impressive economic development accomplishments. The LEDC brought in McCullers Group to implement a comprehensive feasibility scope to provide quantitative and qualitative analyses and recommendations to advance their plan for an impactful sports-anchored district.
The firm is in the process of assessing highest and best uses throughout the project district, providing land analysis, completing a market study, assessing financial feasibility, and evaluating public-private partnership structuring and project funding – all of which will provide a comprehensive development program recommendation and implementation strategy for the city and the region.
