City of Garland
The City of Garland, Texas had a vision: a sports-anchored mixed-use district centered around a 15,000-seat multi-purpose stadium with an adjacent multi-use, multi-field training and competition complex.
While the stadium plan continues to take shape, the city elected to move forward with the multi-field complex, with McCullers Group providing design, operational, and financial expertise during the master planning process. That included market analysis, public-private partnership strategy, design consultation, facility operator procurement and negotiations, capital stack structuring, and financial operating forecasting.
The future Holford Road Soccer Complex will include a championship field, a mix of natural and artificial surfaces, futsal courts, and park spaces, with adjacent parcels slated for a mix of uses. The complex should open just in time to leverage a new I-635 interchange, which will bring even more visitors to this growing North Dallas community.
