As one of the most scenic golf destinations in the Midwest, Island Resort & Casino’s Sweetgrass Golf Course features 36 holes of championship golf, over 320 guest rooms and a 42-site RV Park adjacent to one of the region’s premier gaming casinos. Situated on Native American land, every hole is heavily influenced by Potawatomi tribe mythology, folklore, and tradition. Members of McCullers Group led the course design and concept master planning for the course, which was honored as the 2021 Michigan Course of the Year and the 2022 Jemsek National Course of the Year.
